Public Trust Petition
Listen to Us. Answer Us. Represent Us.
You can sign the Public Trust Petition on its own. The Public Trust Survey is separate — you do not have to take it to sign here.
To our Representative and every candidate for the House:
We elect the House. The House chooses the Speaker. The Speaker decides what reaches the floor — and too often the people’s priorities never get there. We are done being ignored.
We are documenting what our district wants the House to stop, change, investigate, and bring to a vote. When a lot of the people back home agree, we expect you to hear the evidence, answer us in public, tell us what you will do, and allow the results to be publicly tracked.
We are setting one standard for anyone who wants our votes:
- Support a Speaker who lets the people's priorities be heard, debated, and voted on.
- Give people straight answers in public.
- Put the people back home ahead of party leaders and big donors.
- Hold everyone to the same strong ethics rules.
- Let the public see what you supported, opposed, or refused to address.
We may not agree on every issue. We do agree that representative government requires representatives who hear and answer the people they represent.
We are building a record of people in each district who want this, and your name adds to it. This is a political organizing effort—not a legal requirement, a claim about how many people have already joined, or a guarantee of any particular outcome.
Add your name to show how many stand behind the request.
Tell us what you want decision-makers to do.
PHIERS will track what they say, what they do, and what changes.
